We all have expectations but sometimes the greatest thing is to be surprised with what happens and to find out that it is quite different from the way you imagined it.

Every single thing you do, you don't really have expectations.

Having no expectations is a really good thing.

Retouching is an incredible tool but can also create unrealistic expectations for women who don't understand that an image is not how the subject really looks. Even the subjects themselves can't live up to their retouched images.

At MIT, I had the good fortune for seven years to teach network theory, which is basic to many disciplines, to one-third of the undergraduate student body. It was an experiment to see how high we could bring their level of understanding, and it exceeded all of my expectations.
