Maybe I'm not a typical pop star, but I don't think there's a mould for a pop star or singer. You can do whatever you want.

Sometimes you found yourself in conflict or within an area where there's conflict. Some days you just find yourself in danger. Sometimes these things mould you and that's what I mean about hostile environments.

As a singer-songwriter I definitely think I push the mould a lot.

I feel, as an actor, you should be in a position to mould yourself into different characters and should have the ability to change.

I used to like getting cups and putting tiny bits of food and liquids in them. I'd grow mould plumes in the dark wardrobe of my little back bedroom. Not to eat them, mind - just to admire the growing power.

To the extent that Bernie Sanders was about building a movement of people where challenging things that up until then were unchallengeable, then absolutely we want to be seen in that mould.
