I'm not opposed to a fancy meal, but I'll take a picnic any day... food and nature? Sign me up.

Hallmark has been really, really good to me. It is very much like a family. I'm friends with producers here, not because 'maybe if I befriend this person they'll give me a job,' but because they're good humans and we became friends in the process of working together.

I think what I like best about, and what keeps me coming back to work in the Hallmark world is similar to what keeps viewers coming back... of all of the places to go to make believe in TV, there has to be one that's a safe space, a happy place.

As an actor, it's nice to work in an environment where everybody is nice and the things that we do are nice.

I like the skill set required to be an outdoorsman - to cook food over fire and to climb rocks without ropes, to move around using nothing but yourself and maybe some rudimentary tools.

Brains and a sense of humor trump everything else.
